Block RockiT 21 and Block RockiT 21 Pro - Two Awesome Long-Arm Machines

September is Block RockiT 21 or Block RockiT 21 Pro upgrade month! Purchase your machine and get a Light Bar and Brand New 8, 10, or 12 Foot Continuum II frame for FREE!!!

Block RockiT 21 Pro or Q'nique 21 Pro different names same machine. If you are not familiar with Kathy Quilts we have been selling long-arm quilting machines made by the Grace Company for longer than they have offered the Q'nique brand.

When these machines first came out they were labeled "Block RockiT" because that was Kathy Quilts private label. Kathy and Lynn Barlow were the only authorized people that could sell the 14+ which is now called the Block RockiT 15R. Fast-forward eight years and we have several machines made for us by the Grace Company which is based in Salt Lake City Utah. We have the Block RockiT 15R, 15 Pro, 19, 21, and 21 Pro. The number reflects the throat length of the machine. We found that 14+ was confusing so we changed it to 15R or Block RockiT 15 because it has always been a 15 inch throat machine.

The real story here is how the Grace Company has taken the Block RockiT 21 and added a really nice touchscreen user interface that makes using the 21 Pro so much easier than any of the other long-arm machines made for us by the Grace Company. The Block RockiT 21 Pro is faster, smoother, quieter, and just better than any other long-arm machines made for us by the Grace Company. Here is a list of the awesome features that are included with the Block RockiT 21 Pro.

  • Touch Screen allows you to:
    •  Change the stitch regulated mode your are working on.
    • Control your needle up/down so that it takes a whole or half stitch.
    • Bobbin estimator that counts the stitches when you put a new bobbin in and will alert you as you start to run out of bobbin.
    • Stitch length short cuts for quickly changing stitches per inch.
    • Needle Jog lets you incrementally lower or raise your needle with the touch of the screen.
    • Run diagnostics on your machine if it isn't running the way it should.
  • 2,600 stitches per minute motor
  • LED needle light is switchable so you can turn it on our off if you need too.
  • Hopping foot can be oriented so that it is sideways or face towards the back of the machine.
  • Smooth - The Block RockiT machine compares to other brands that cost thousands more.
  • Rolls very easily so that you don't have excessive strain on your hands, arms, or shoulders. The Block RockiT 21 Pro weighs about 60 pounds but with the way it rolls around on the Continuum or Continuum II frame you would think it was floating on air. It is so easy to control which helps you to quilt better and have your quilts turn out the way you want them to.
  • Quiet - You don't want to have to wear hearing protection because you machine is so loud. The Block Rocki 21 Pro is so quiet so that quilting for hours you don't get a ringing in your ears or numb has from excessive vibration.
  • Adjustable handles so you can get the right angle for the type of quilting your are doing.
  • Basically maintenance free - No need to worry about having someone local service your machine every year. They just want have you keep spending money. The Block RockiT 21 Pro is made so that you never need to open it up. If you put a drop of oil in the oiling port and one in the hook assembly, then your machine will last for year. If there is lint in the hook area you can brush or blow it out with compressed air.

The Block RockiT 21 is also a great machine just without the touch screen.  It is a little more budget friendly for those who's budget doesn't allow for the Block RockiT 21 Pro.

The Block RockiT 21 is the same machine as the 21 Pro but it stitches at 1,800 stitches per minute and isn't quite so fancy but the throat length is the same and there are a lot of people that are just as happy with this awesome machine.
