Horizontal Spool Holder

The Horizontal Spool Holder from Grace Co. is a really good tool to have for any Block RockiT or Q'nique Long-arm machine use spools of thread, and specialty threads on your Machine. 

When using spool thread you can't just pop it on the same post as cone thread. Cone thread is made to feed off the top of the cone where spool thread is made to rotate the whole spool as the thread feeds off it.  If try to have the spool thread feed like a cone it will put an extra twist in your thread and it will break more so it is better to have the spool rotate as it feeds off the spool. With the Horizontal Spool Holder the whole spool will turn as it was designed and you will get better thread tension and not get the breakage you would get without the Horizontal Spool Thread Holder

The Spool Holder comes with a thumbscrew to attach it to your cone holder, and uses two plastic spool stops to keep the spool in place, while letting it spin and unwind while you quilt.
