Z44 Professional hand quilting frame has the height adjustment with its easy to use ratchet system, which was previously unavailable on earlier model Z44 frames. You can now raise your frame up by simply lifting the frame assembly while resting your foot on the frame. To lower the height, push down on the ratchet release lever, and it will click and drop one notch. Best of all, no tools are required. It's so cool! Features of the Z44 Professional Sturdy Construction is achieved through the use of Poplar hardwood, Baltic birch hardwood plywood along with Aluminium Locking Fabri-Fast frame rails make loading your quilt very easy. The Grace Company has used their years of experience to produce a product that not only looks good but will stand up to the test of time. This frame carries a manufacture lifetime warranty against cracking or warping. Smooth rolling 50-Tooth Ratchet Wheels let you have accurate tension control over your quit top and back. The double locking stops will not let the tension slip. The fourth pole (batting rail) is standard on the Z44 Professional. Roll your batting up on this rail to keep it out of the way. This rail offers the same quick release system that the other three rails use. The Optional Side Tension Clamps will help you to get even tension out on the edges of your quilt. As you progress further into your quilt, you might notice the edges of your quilt don't have the same tension as the middle. The EdgeMaster allows you to have the same tension on the edges as in the middle of the quilting area. The Z44 Professional will fold with your quilt in progress. You can fold it flat to store until you have some time to quilt, or you can fold it partially to get it out of the way. Folded completely, it is 17" flat and has special feet so it is free standing.
